Share Your Pics The Molome Way

30 March 2012 By: Marlene7 Comments

If you have ever so wanted that Instagram app but desperate about having it because the developer has exclusively created it for iPhone’s, don’t fret cos there’s a similar app for non-iPhone users. What’s special about this mobile application is the ability for users to apply effects on photos. If your phone runs Android or Symbian the Molome app can give you the photo effects you’ve wanted. Blackberry users can download this app, too. My phone runs Nokia (Symbian) Belle and I’ve been sharing some of my pics the Molome way.

Molome effect - vintage

Trying the vintage photo effect from Molome

It’s fascinating to see other users’ photos and how they apply effects that fit on them. Others put effects on their self-portrait but I’m more interested in photos of nature, places and structures. Using the app is very easy and browsing others images is a pleasant experience. From the application, you can either take a photo or pick from my gallery. The photo will be cropped to 600×600 after you edit it and lastly, choose an effect that suits. The photo can be shared on Facebook and Twitter or you may just want to share it with other Molome users.

Molome effect - bonita

Bonita effect? I can't remember.

Personally, I prefer the natural image that comes straight from the camera. Effects can sometimes be too much and unreal. But for the sake of creativity and fun I won’t mind sharing pics with Molome effects.

Those effects are quite stunning. I’ve always wanted some of my photos to have that look to them. Going to try out Molome myself soon.
