The St. Regis Hotel
There are so many things I remember and I’m missing in Singapore when summer comes. It’s always summertime when we travel there as our landmark before flying to Davao. But there will be no long travel for us this summer because we have other plans that need sufficient funds to be actualized. Anyhow, the feeling of being in a cozy and comfy hotel room is something I miss, especially after spending hours going around in a hot day in Singapore. The St. Regis Singapore Hotel is really worth to recommend to anyone visiting the country. We stayed at this hotel on our previous travel there and I would love to stay in one of its rooms again.
This is the Executive Deluxe Room with a king-sized bed and sofas to host the visitors. It’s like a living room, office and a bedroom in one place. And a Butler to attend your needs and querries.
This bathroom is worth a showoff! There’s also a shower in the corner in case you don’t like to bathe in that stand-alone bathtub.
Just resting my back after a long flight from Amsterdam. Yay! Looking out and down the wide window was breathtaking, that I wouldn’t do often when I’m in a hotel room this high.
Tanglin Road By Night
It has been two years since the last time we were in Singapore. It’s always our landmark before flying to Davao. Nothing could be more convenient to us than the direct flight from there and not only that, shopping for pasalubong is more than convenient since it’s easy to find the things we want, from electronics to clothings like kimono. Hubby and I can never get enough of Singapore. We both love the atmosphere, the food, the attractions and all.
We had the opportunity to stroll along Tanglin Road during our last visit there. Since we both feel it’s hot in the day, the favorable time for us to be walking in the streets for longer time is in the evening. I like these brilliant lights in Tanglin Shopping Centre, it creates a defining contrast of the night.
Wish Upon A Star
Will you be ready with your wish if you see a falling star or shooting star? I don’t know but I might stammer if I see one. I haven’ seen a shooting star in my entire life. I don’t think I would be able to see any at all when I can’t even get to see stars over me now that it barely gets dark in my place. I had taken a number of photographs of the dark winter sky but even then the stars seemed invisible. There is, on the other hand, another kind of star that’s not invisible and maybe wish-able, too. I am not really sure if wishing upon a falling star could make your wish come true. So take a shot on this and may your wish come true. Only this time, don’t look up, but look down. Are you ready?

Wait, wait, and wait...

Here it goes, slowly forming a star...

And make a wish!
I’m just making fun of this lovely view at the Raffles Plaza Complex in Singapore. It was taken on different occasions as I wasn’t quick enough to get a perfect timing to shoot when the star would appear. The star’s still not perfect, is it? Wish me luck next time.
