I told you I don’t miss to shift my clock to winter time an hour back. And it was good to get out with a light from the sun in the morning. Oh, yes, it wasn’t dark anymore and it will be like this, at least, until the middle of November. My watch, my mobile’s time stamp and the radio clock were all set to winter time except my alarm clock. I waited until last night to set it, lazy me! I have a digital alarm clock similar to that of the image with the exclusion of the projector effect. I don’t think I can sleep at all when I see those large numbers at the ceiling, lol! I usually set the alarm to radio coz I can’t stand the beeping sound to wake me up.
Anyhow, I set my alarm clock to winter time just before I went to bed. I synchronized it with the radio-controlled clock in the living room so to make sure it would get the accurate time. The wall clock showed 10:20 something. But my alarm clock has the 24-hour system or the so called military time. Meaning I should have set the time to 22:20 something. But I happened to set it wrong. Fortunately, I was awakened by the strong wind which I could hear from the trap window. I glanced at the clock to see what time it was and I was surprised it showed 15:40 something. What the….? Geezz! I could have missed my seminar this morning.
Speaking of this 24-hour-clock, I remember the first time I was learning Swedish when our teacher did a kind of dictation for us to write the sentence correctly. I made a mistake when I wrote, “She went to the dentist at 3:00 in the afternoon.” That mistake helped me to understand that even if they’re using the 24h-clock, they still say the time the normal way, hahaa. Now the time is 22:00, time to watch Prison Break.

hahahah see, you should have changed all the clocks in the house and not be lazy. hehehe so, did you manage to watch your prison break?
Marlene says
As lazy as I am, Farah, hahaa! Oh, yes, I try not to miss any show of Prison Break.

Slow no! heheh. Tapos natutunan ko rin naman after 10 years.
Marlene says

I’m so used to the 24 hour time format that I get confused if I use the normal AM/PM format … LOL!
Marlene says
Hahaa! Blame it to the Americans, Nick. We follow their time format in the Phil., that’s why I’m used to it. But now, I’m getting used to the 24h clock, too.

Mhy,
Hahaa! Ikaw pa, ang galing-galing mo sa Math. Hindi napapagod ang mga mathematicians, ano… 🙂

I was killing my sleep from last couple of weeks – ( due to the contest thing and makeover of my site ) And then amor pointed that i had made few big mistakes while writing stuff on my sidebar. That was due to sleepy-ness and working long hours at night. One should not punish his/her body. It shows when you are overdoing somethin.
