The Gothenburg Cathedral-Domkyrkan
Inside Domkyrkan
I have seen many people, probably tourists, who were taking pictures of this Cathedral. For me, it’s not an eye-catching structure, but just an ordinary church. Then one day I just took myself pictures of the Cathedral, too. It’s because the history that embraces this Cathedral that interests me to do so. It was first built in the late 1600’s but two incidents of fire destroyed the first and the second replicas respectively. So it’s the third reconstruction that’s been standing strong since 1825. Amen to this!

It is a gorgeous building and surely great architecture too. It is very impressive, and that’s why tourists flock there I believe.

Farah, I didn’t realize this great architecture until I went inside. It was indeed, impressive!

Mhy,
Ang ganda ng building. Romanesque type and almost 200 years old na pala yan ha. Matibay din kahit ilang ulit nang ni-reconstruct.
Marlene says
Jess, kaya nga eh. Pero di naman gaanong attractive talaga sa labas. Ang sa loob ang simple ang dating pero ma-iimpress ka.

That’s a lovely cathedral but you’re right, it’s not really eye-catching, but lovely nonetheless 😀
Marlene says
It’s true, hehee! Everytime I see some taking pictures of it, I thought it’s the sky they want to capture, cos nothing’s special with the church. 🙂
Joy says
it looks like the church we used to every Sunday Len ss Melbourne City the St. Francis. Musta?
Marlene says
Very ordinary ang dating, di ba, hehee.
Eto busy sa exam ng mga studes kaya iwas blogging muna me.

Marlene says
Maricris, I’m impressed with the altar, too. The outer design is not captivating, but the inside does.
