It’s the name of the book I have just finished reading. I was so dragged to the story that I didn’t want to put it down till I’d come to the last page. It’s like I wanted to know what would happen next and every chapter was a discovery of another unpredictable truth. And that would only led me to keep on reading. This is the first novel I’ve read of Linwood Barclay but after reading “Never Look Away”, I must say I instantly become one of his million readers. I just wouldn’t look away then the moment I got hold of this book.
I haven’t heard of Linwood Barclay nor his books before. While I was browsing for something to read at the bookshop a week ago, I found this one with an interesting synopsis in the back-cover. I usually look for something new by some prominent writers like Dan Brown or John Grisham among others but my gut didn’t feel like having one of them. Instead, I ended up picking a book at random, read the lines in the back and finally fell for this one. And I didn’t regret it.
I’m not going to divulge the story here in case some of you would want to read it later. But rest assured that it’s both breathtaking and heartbreaking. It will take some time before I rid myself of the touching scenarios I created in my mind while reading the book.
Other best-sellers by Linwood Barclay:

- No Time For Goodbye

It seems like a great book to read based on your post teacher Marlene. Hehe. I am a hardcore reader and book collector as well. Sometimes, I don’t wanna start reading a certain book if I know that my time won’t allow me to finish it. Seems like, if I will be reading a book, I see to it that, I will finish it in just one week or so.

I recommend you read it. I was supposed to do my reading this week cos I’m on break but I couldn’t set it aside. I spent sleepless nights, too and couldn’t concentrate on my job thinking about the story, hahaa! Good to know you’re a reader, too.

Sounds interesting! I love Dan Brown and John Grisham novels as well. When we have our favorites, it’s quite hard to ‘trust’ another author. And it’s good to hear that you didn’t regret it.

You got it right! I thought I would not go for random selecting cos I had regrets when I did once. But this one is a good find.
Btw, thank you so much for dropping by.
