It’s been 7 years since Me and Leif conceptualized this site as our very own virtual home. The idea of registering this domain name came on March 17, 2001 when we started playing at being a web master. Learning HTML was a quite complicated in the beginning so it took two years before our personal website was uploaded and accessible to the world wide web.
Since the blog and blog software were unknown to us then, the updating with HTML was always complicated and at times tedious. I took the chance to update this site while learning more about the complexities of it. But after updating, I would hardly visit it again until the next update. The content that I used to update was the web album and video pages for my family and relatives in Davao to view. But still, it wasn’t as interactive as now.
Then came the blog and this blogging phenomenon that I never expected would draw some visitors to this site. It was in November last year when I decided to upload the WordPress blog platform. The updating has gone smooth and easy since then. The number of visitor has been gratifying that sometimes I miss the little privacy of this site before. Now that blogging becomes the “main attraction” of this site, I moved the personal stuffs to the dot net extension of this domain. We used to call it Lemback Home but now it’s Potpourri (of writings and thoughts).

Buti ka pa nakaka-syete anyos ka na. Ako nga wla pang kong seven months. I hope I will also be able to blog for 7 years, or kahit 5 years lang. mahirap kasi minsan ang blogging. Minsan may pera, minsan wla. Eh sa panahon ngayon tlgang kailangan nating rumaket para mabuhay. 🙁

I first found your site on 05.11.2007 at 06:31when Lemback dot Com was going thru its 7th Phase. I started blogging on 29th Aug 2007, so you can say i am following this site since my blogging and i switch over from blogspot to wordpress after reading your this post so i learnt a lot from you, no doubt and i Thank you for that…..BTW happy birthday Lamback dot Com

Congratulations! 7 years is a long time. and since then, there are a few looks too. but of course, the latest one is the best! 🙂 I want to get my very own domain too, but I’ll just wait for a while first. My blog is now 8 months old. still a baby huh? will wait till it becomes a toddler. hehehehe
