What could be the best drink when the weather temperature is gradually turning zero degree. I wish this season would end so soon but that is imposible. Another season of cold and dark days is yet to come. It has been a torture to me although I have lived here for more than ten years. And as long as I am stuck in here, there is no way for me to hop over the season I like the least. Somehow, I managed to get along by keeping myself occupied as much as possible instead of counting days and months, rushing to the end of the season. The more I count, the longer it feels and the waiting becomes forever. Sometimes I ask myself how many years of this season shall I survive, lol! Here I am again with my never-ending complaints of the weather. When it’s too hot, I complain. When it’s too cold, I complain. Same old waltz, so to speak, hehehe.
Now there is one thing that would stop me from complaining – for a moment. This hot chocolatey drink somehow keeps me warm when I am at the mall. I found a place called Lé Croissant that serves this hot choco drink topped with whipped cream. Hmmm! It goes perfectly with a piece of citrus croissant.

hot choco with whipped cream
We’re approaching summer here but it can be very cold in the office (silly air con). Sometimes I’m longing for a hot chocie in the afternoon just to warm me up… normally end up drinking warm water instead to save money 🙁 (I already have coffee in the morning)

I’m envious of your warm weather there. Hehee, it just means you’re not really a coffee addict.
wow… nakakagutom… wala pa ko breakfast… a cup of that and couple of puffs! magnifico!

Strangely, I don’t like choco for my breakfast. I prefer tea but meryenda and before bedtime na ang choco. 🙂
OMG! I want a hot choc now.

Sure, I also feel the same when I was in the Philippines.

It’s usually rainy and chilly in the Philippines, too. I’d definitely go for a choco if I’m there.
Hot Choco! I just love that. One of my favorites, esp if it’s topped with whipped cream, talu talo na haha.

Honney, pasok ka sa malamig na mall at dun ka uminom ng choco kagaya ni Amor, hahaa!
hmmm.. looks yummy.. 😀 ..whipped cream can also adds to the drink…
I love whipped cream on fruits too.
Hello Friend.Dry mix- people can make it to taste then and you have what is left for future use rather then pots of hot cocoa that you would just trash. Also you don’t want all that chocolate scum in your coffee pot.Thank you.
I think choco scum is for choco, not for coffee. Haven’t try coffee with whipped cream.
You know what, it’s cold rainy day here and I just taking a black hot tea to keep myself hot and recover my energy.

Hot tea is also good on rainy days. I do drink tea every morning here.
For me, i will choose hot coffee. HEhehe
The problem with coffee here is that it tastes so strong and dark to me.
Choco drinks is a big NO for me since I have diabetes.

I won’t recommend it either. It’s good that you’re watching out what you eat and drink.

Cold choco is another great option.
I have tried cold choco drink, it was also good, though not as satisfying as hot choco.
Aaahh!
It’s summer 365 days a year in India!! I wish to go back to Korea in winter to have a warm cup of hot chocolate!!
Yes, it is! Definitely my choice on a cold day.
In winter I normally drink Milo and stay away from coffee as it keeps me up. Even now that it’s hot, a nice cup of Milo does it for me.

Milo! I used to drink this in Davao when I was little. It’s good, but too bad I can’t find it here.
Very YUMMY! The photo makes you just crave a cup of hot coco, with Whipped Cream of course.
