While driving home from Lugano we spotted several Alps along the way and at the same time the sun was shining bright on a winter’s day of January. When we reached Bellinzona we headed toward a town or village called Biasca. And there we admired the beautiful view of the Alps while the sun shone upon us. This place is quite close to the third longest road tunnel in the world, the Gotthard Tunnel, and through where we drove afterwards.
Driving around Switzerland in the winter will bring you closer to its many snow-capped Alps and appreciate the snowy landscapes.
