A Cottage At The Lake

20 October 2010 By: Marlene5 Comments

This is the kind of a place where I want to be now. Though not in this cold country but in a warmer climate like my hometown, Davao. All I know is that a cottage like this is built for use in the tropics but I was overjoyed when I saw this past summer in Ulricehamn on our teachers’ trip.

It’s the Kallbadhus or Cold Bath House at the Åsunden lake in Ulricehamn. I don’t know exactly how to translate the name but it’s the word for word translation I can think of. It must mean that this house is open all-year round.

    Hello Marlene,

How’s life. First of all, that was a big house you showed to us there. The beautiful scenery surely make our hearts warm and the cold water will definitely cool our head off.

I like to have a vacation in a place like this. In Malaysia we have a few resorts built above the sea. I have not tried one but I will surely do it when time permits. My upcoming vacation will be in staying in a rainforest called “Mulu”, You can read about it in my blog.

Anyway, have a nice day Marlene.
