Anyone who owns a digital camera has definitely learned to set the self-timer when it is needed. I do it more often with my camera whenever I want to be in the picture. It is, however, not always easy to find a right spot where I can place the camera to get a good picture of the background and me. Oftentimes I end up taking pictures without me in them because it’s impossible to place the camera somewhere.
This picture shows one of the times when I set the self-timer and placed the camera on the table. A tripod could help the situation but I don’t remember bringing it all the time. Because I wanted to be with my colleagues in this picture I took the chance to hit the self-timer and it did shoot. But we couldn’t find the camera’s focus or the focus missed us. Either way was the fault of the, hrmm, table. Yes? If you’re wondering how the table became yellow (when it’s brown) it’s the light’s yellow shell reflection. After seeing this pic I was thinking what if I’d placed the camera on a mug or an upside- down mug would it turn out better than this one?
A good photograph capturing real smiling moments.
Thanks for sharing.
Yes, we were happy but the pic isn’t that good.
What a fun shot! Have a fabulous week.
I will try my best next time, hehee!

Yea, it can be difficult to get a good shot sometimes when using a timer. I put the camera on the edge of a platform so that the bottom part of the picture is not filled with the platform on which the camera is resting on.
I have had shots like that, its a shame we can all carry mine tripods.
