When Spring Comes Early
I hope I’m not speaking too soon but to feel the chilly air of spring this soon is so welcome. It just confirms that winter has been so mild and now it can’t stop the coming of spring. It’s unusual to be raining in February for me but I’m not complaining since it helps clear the grounds of snow. The weather forecast for the coming days is by far, warmer and rainfall instead of snowfall.
There are, however, people who are not happy when spring comes and the fact that it comes early this time will only prolong their agony. People who have some form of allergies caused by nature are badly affected in this season. Good enough, these people will always know that spring is in the air when they get allergy attack. Signs like watery and red eyes, sniffing, sneezing are common signs of spring allergies. Pollens from trees and weeds are the culprits.
I, myself, sniffle and sometimes sneeze often at spring but luckily I haven’t had the need of some medication. Hopefully not ever. I normally get over it when all plants and flowers are in full blooms. This seasonal change is good for some but bad for others. In spite of allergies and all I welcome spring with all my heart.
