When Energy Subsides

10 August 2008 By: Marlene21 Comments

I felt a sudden lost of energy to doing anything the past few days. I was feeling tired but I didn’t know why. The moment I sat by my pc, my interest just disappeared and found myself confused as to what to do. Hubby and me were away to an island two days ago and after that my energy just subsided to ground zero the next day. The walk on the island wasn’t even tiring. I did check the comments on this blog but even writing replies was not so encouraging. Ack! how I hated feeling that way. Tired of nothing, unexplainable lost of energy. Even when I bloghopped, I just read posts but not had the strength to leave comments even when my mind reacted to what I was reading. I feel sorry for leaving your comments on this blog unanswered. I’ll catch-up with those later.

I do feel tired many times but at least I know the reason why and find remedies to get rid of it. But this kind of tiredness is hard to deal with. The pull of sleep was irresistible but even then helped no better. But how it starts plaguing somebody is unknown as well as how it just goes away. I couldn’t come up with better reasons as to how I got rid of the so called tiredness for unknown causes. Now I’m up and around like I’ve recovered from some sort of illness or something and I’ve gained back the lost energy, I suppose.

    Mhy,

You’re not the only one. Me too. 🙁 What I do is to really stay away from my computer then just watch cartoons or fix my motor vehicles. Sometimes I feel really drained blogging and running small businesses which do not yield any profit. lol!

Joy, mahirap din kung pilitin ang sarili at wala ding mangyayari. Kaya kailangan din talaga ang pahinga. 🙂

oh dear, worry not! it happens sometimes, even for me. There are times, I just feel like there’s so much to write and I just want to blog hop and leave comments. Otherwise, I just feel tired to even check my own emails and blog – it happens, so, don’t bother about it.

btw, you went to an island? that sounds romantic 🙂 Now, another reason for feeling so is…well…umh……well, you know… **wink**! vomiting as well? nausea? 🙂

I’m glad I’m not alone in this. Bloghopping helps, though sometimes I stare blank at the monitor.

Hehee! I don’t feel nauseous on boats. It was a short visit to once Leif’s place.

Do what I do, switch off the PC and head to bed for a nice long nap … LOL! That always works for me 😀

I agree with you, Nick. What long nap? Hahaa! I might as well fall into deep slumber the whole day.

OMG Marlene, I know exactly what you mean. I have been feeling like that lately too. I’ve just been feeling so tired and I found out that going for a short jog early in the morning makes me feel much more refresh and alert throughout the day. I’ve been doing it for 4 days now and I feel a lot better.

Rozella, I wish I could do jogging like you. But even that, I’m too lazy to get up early in the morning, hehee! Oh, good for you, dear. Keep doing it and you will have a balance posture.

Ako di ko talaga pinipilit dahil mas lalo lang akong napapagod for no reason. Nagtataka nga din ako kung normal ba ito or result ng aging. 🙁

Yeah, this must be the reason why we feel tired sometimes even if we don’t do heavy works.
