What Can You See?

9 July 2010 By: Marlene17 Comments

What can you see in the middle of the sea? Answer: E. I am not sure if it is a riddle but I remember playing with words when I was in school. And that question is one of those which answer is hidden in one of the words in the question. Forget about riddles cos it’s not what this post is all about. I’m just trying to say that we’re back from an anticipated vacation. We tried cruising this time from the southeastern part of Sweden to a city in Poland called Gdynia. I never heard of this city before. I thought a cruise would be exciting cos just the thought of it was exhilarating. We were cruising for ten and a half hours back and forth. The ship has fine restaurants and bars, slot machines and games, shopping, cozy rooms, free internet and a lot more. But seeing nothing in the outside but water was a dull sight.

What can you see in the middle of the sea?

There was nothing we could do but eat and sleep and eat and sleep. I won’t say I don’t like cruising again but I wouldn’t want it to be done back and forth. One way could be much better and stay on land for a couple of days and onboard the ship again back home. Good thing that hubby booked a room where we could stay undisturbed and watch tv in our own room. Otherwise it could be more crowded and loud in the cabins.

The ship’s name is Stena-Baltica.

You used to travel around India, eh? That’s vacation too. Get away from blogging once in a while, buddy.

It was good on the way to but on the way back was already boring. Land tours are better for me too.

I always get tensed whenever I aboard ships. One time, we aboard RoRo to go to Samar and I really get tensed because, at that time, the waves are getting higher and higher as we go farther and farther from land. Then at some area, you can see the rain pouring hard. Scary…

It will be a nightmare for me too if I’m on the ship and the waves on the sea were high and cruel in a bad weather. I only boarded Superferry once from Davao to Manila. It scared me to death and I thought I would never do it again.
