This Little Thing

Sony Vaio P2

Sony Vaio VGN-P11z Netbook

Here comes another little thing this time from Sony Vaio’s product row of netbooks.  When I saw this in my catalogue I thought it was that HP Vivienne Tan so my glance just ran on it with haste.  But when it was hubby’s turn to see the catalogue, he strangely said, “Älskling, it’s too bad we bought that Lenovo.”  I didn’t know what he meant so I looked at that page of the catalogue where his eyes were focusing and at that moment I saw it was Sony Vaio.  “Oh, my!”  And I asked him if it’s real.  Then like a child, he murmured the words, “I want this. And I want the red one.”  I wasn’t sure if he meant what he said or just teasing me and said those words before I could, hahaa!  But when he went to the computer and check for more details of Sony Vaio P11Z, I knew right there and then he would want this little thing.  And why on earth he wanted the red one, I had no idea. The truth is, I like this, too.  And I woudn’t mind if he gets one. But that might be way too far from reality cos when we checked the price, it’s tripple that of Lenovo and HP.  It even costs a little bit more than the camera we recently bought.  Hayyy!

Sony Vaio P21Z

It’s said to be the world’s lightest netbook with its 638 grams weight.  But the specs are as robust as those heavy-weight netbooks.

Hard drive capacity – 80GB
RAM – 2GB
Processor Intel Atom Z520 1,33 GHz
Operating System Windows Vista Premium
Chipset Intel® System Controller Hub US15W
Screen Diagonal size (in) – 8″
Resolution 1600 x 768
Wireless LAN Type 802.11b/g/Draft n

Wow, so small I would probably lose it. Sony’s here in South africa are way to expensive and it’s more than a luxury than a must have.

Only for the rich and famous 🙂

Is that so? Before I consider Sony as a high-priced brand but there are models that are cheap, too.

Ang cute naman ng netbook na yan. I also like the color, alive na alive.

This is quite new so I don’t know how it works yet. But the size is tempting.

Ooh pretty! I love the color 🙂 I’m still happy with my Mac though and 80GB is so not enough for me.

It’s more expensive than I thought. It’s triple the cost of a Lenovo or Acer Aspire netbooks.

My girlfriend has a Sony Vaio and it seems like a very good laptop. I don’t think I would want the 8″ version though 🙂 I would have a hard time typing on it. For those with small hands, this would be very handy when traveling.

Oh, yes I agree it’s hard to type with small netbooks as this. I’m still trying to get used to my Lenovo though.
