These Lazy Days

5 August 2009 By: Marlene21 Comments

It has been a week since we came back from our vacation and I’ve just finished the final unpacking of the last luggage we had.  Hubby and I have been lazying, doing nothing but sleep, eat and watch films since we came.  I’ll start working again in two weeks so I guess it’s just right to have enough days of relaxation before going back to work.  Hubby’s going back to work anytime soon, too.  But these past few days and maybe more ahead, we are completely stuck with lazy days.  The weather has been wet and gray, too, that’s why it’s not so inviting to go out, though we went to the grocery twice because we had to.  Summer hasn’t been so kind here but I can’t complain now after experiencing a warm weather in my hometown.  The rains down there don’t give much chill in the air.

It would be nicer on these lazy days with a warmer climate so that I could start re-planting my plants that I left in the balcony when we left.  They seem to be withering any moment but they look like they just need some soil and perhaps a hug from the gardener, lol!  And how I wish I could plant this bougainvillea here, too.  Oh, yes, planting can be a good acitivity to while away lazy days.

Willie, it just happened that my work (as a teacher) has given me the privilege like when schools closed for summer, we’re free as well.

Vacation is always a rejuvenating phenomenon. After a long vacation it truly does take some time to get back to the momentum. Welcome back to the blogosphere.

I’m counting the days now till I get back to work. I’m feeling that summer is so short. Thank you, I’m sure it will.

Hahaa! Oo nga, magandang dahilan yan. Pero kapag pasukan na naman ay parang back to basics palagi, simula uli sa no. 1. 🙁

When I was young, gusto ko maging teacher kasi wala silang pasok pag summer, hehe, ang ganda ng dahilan ko no! 😀

Hindi ko nga maintindihan kung bakit maraming comments na naka moderated, kahit na di naman napasok sa spam at kahit na may old comments na ang author.

Sana nga makapagbakasyon kayo para may pics din akong makita sa province nyo. 🙂

Gardening is a nice thing to avoid the laziness. I also like the gardening.
