The Servant Of The House

3 March 2008 By: Marlene27 Comments

I’m surreal disappointed when everything I’ve written disappeared in just one click!  I was writing a post, clicked the save and continue editing button, it went fine.  When I was almost finished, I clicked the save and continue editing button again, and puff! A blank page, IE could not show the page.  When I went back to my dashboard and clicked the title of my draft, it contained nothing!  The post that I’ve written was lost!  Grrr!  The draft title was there but it’s empty.  I could not concentrate anymore cos I am grrr!…..

Anyway, to bring back the humour in me, I browsed my folder with pictures taken during my child care and leisure study, found these pics.

Class Presentation 2003

It was our group’s presentation and I was portraying as the servant of the house. Do I really look like a servant here? Yikes, if I may say, I looked like a Catholic Bishop 😀

Class Presentation2-2003

And here comes the Bishop serving! My classmate couldn’t find ways to dress me like a servant so she brought that something on my head.  The rich mama and papa sitting in front of each other and the girls on my left and right were supposed to be sweethearts in which the guy has fallen in love to the middle class girl.  We’re all girls in the class so don’t be surprise to see no men in the picture hehe!

Bhuhuu! Got to check my database later and see if I my the whole draft I’ve written is there.  Do you think so?

Hello….first, you look cute in that ‘bishop’ outfit! lol was that in high school? that looked and sounded like fun.

you know, blogger is always up with something funny and silly, and of course at times, pissing off too. Too bad everything disappeared in your draft, how could that happened, it should at least show what you saved last rite? recently, i couldn’t edit my page elemts because it was cut, i couldn’t scroll down to view.

anyway, thanx for visiting apples of the eyes, and hope to see you around again. lovely blog here, and you might see me often too! 🙂

Hi Farah, thanks to Entrecard, I’ve found your very nice blog. That was in 2003 when I was studying the Swedish version of Preschool Assistant, but it was a waste of time cos I’m not working at a Preschool now.

I had no idea what happened. It’s strange cos the title was there but the content was lost or erased or something….*sigh* Sometimes little problems just exist without us knowing what the cause was. It’s irritating.

friend diba may auto save ng draft ang WP? Ako naman super disappointed whenever I comment in blogger tapos biglang nawawala, nakalagay done tapos blank page.

But then, sa sobrang pagse-saved ko siguro at preview kaya nawala tuloy, hehe.. Title na lang ang naiwan.

My classmates would just want to exaggerate my role as a servant 😀

Thank you, Sweetiepie. Actually I used to write a draft in a notepad or wordpad, but stopped that technique thinking I could save it in WordPress. I guess I have to use that technique again. Oh, yes, it’s me in the picture, that’s I made it small, hehee..

Hi, this also happened to me, in fact two times in a row. I didn’t know what happened. Because of that I lost interest in blogging but eventually I resumed. Have a nice day!
