The Empty Sightseeing Bus

7 February 2011 By: Marlene12 Comments

What’s it like to be riding on a sightseeing bus? You look so tourist and feel so tourist obviously. People might be wondering where you come from. Though they’ll be glad there are tourists in their place. But is a sightseeing bus solely for tourists? I always have this feeling that it is, that’s why I haven’t gotten on it here in my place. My friend and I thought maybe one day we should try to be on a sightseeing bus. We see many tours of this bus on summer, so why not? A sightseeing bus, I believe, is not absolutely for tourists. Anyone can have a good ride on it while enjoying the attractions around.

The sightseeing bus in Catania, Sicily

it's yellow and it's a sightseeing bus

I saw this sightseeing bus while going around in the city of Catania. Unlike here in Gothenburg, this bus must be on the job all year round. It wasn’t even spring or summer when we were there yet it was out and ready to take passengers around town. But it was empty when I saw it. I did not bother to find out why cos I wouldn’t be riding on it anyway. Instead, my eyes were allured by the white sightseeing wagon. It looked grand! And is that a man in Santa Claus costume? I didn’t notice him until I saw this pic. Err, Santa Claus in January?

Wow, you didn’t saw Santa when you took this pic? Only saw him and the bandwagon when you saw the pic you took? Kinda spooky? Halloween in January? Hehe.

Maybe because I was fond of the bus and I ignored what’s around. 🙂
