The St. Regis Hotel
There are so many things I remember and I’m missing in Singapore when summer comes. It’s always summertime when we travel there as our landmark before flying to Davao. But there will be no long travel for us this summer because we have other plans that need sufficient funds to be actualized. Anyhow, the feeling of being in a cozy and comfy hotel room is something I miss, especially after spending hours going around in a hot day in Singapore. The St. Regis Singapore Hotel is really worth to recommend to anyone visiting the country. We stayed at this hotel on our previous travel there and I would love to stay in one of its rooms again.
This is the Executive Deluxe Room with a king-sized bed and sofas to host the visitors. It’s like a living room, office and a bedroom in one place. And a Butler to attend your needs and querries.
This bathroom is worth a showoff! There’s also a shower in the corner in case you don’t like to bathe in that stand-alone bathtub.
Just resting my back after a long flight from Amsterdam. Yay! Looking out and down the wide window was breathtaking, that I wouldn’t do often when I’m in a hotel room this high.
From GOT Till SIN
First of all, I would like to apologize for not visiting your blogs for the past few days. It’s because me and hubby have been on a long trip from Gothenburg, Sweden to Singapore. The countdown I was referring to on my previous post ended on Sunday and started a new event to share about. This is actually my first time to blog about a trip to my hometown, Davao. I was there two years ago but it was just the same time I discovered WordPress so I wasn’t active in the blogsphere then.
So here I am enjoying my summer trip to Singapore. Hubby and I normally booked a flight from Gothenburg to Singapore and from there booked another flight to Davao. Singapore has been our landmark before proceeding to our final destination. It is because of the direct flight from Singapore to Davao. And hubby worked here in Singapore a long time ago so he’s feeling comfortable here and he knows where to find almost anything. And I, too, liked the city the first I was here five years ago.
Anyhow, the flight this time was almost the same as before. From Gothenburg to Amsterdam took 1 hour and 25 minutes. Then we waited for more than two hours for our flight from Amsterdam to Singapore. That was a 12 hour-flight from 9:30pm and that gave me a little sleep on the plane, thanks to late snacks and late dinner.
We’re staying at St. Regis Hotel for 2 nights. We already did a little shopping today and geez, how time flies! We were’nt able to go to Sentosa Island after shopping. There are a lot of places which I would love to visit again here but 2 days are not enough. I have taken some pictures but I’m running out of time to resize them. Maybe when I have time in Davao, I’ll post some pictures and visit your blogs, too. Tomorrow, we’ll fly to Davao. I can’t wait to see my family again.
