A Netbook And Tablet In One

It wasn’t long ago when I told hubby that I wanted to have one of those tablet PC’s that’s been alluring me to stop and look everytime I passed by the stores. I wouldn’t suggest which one of them cos I normally let him choose as he knows what to look for, being the tech-savvy one. He did the searching and reading online until he found out that Asus would come up with a tablet PC, too. I’ve learned to be patient when he’d say wait for this or that cos I rely on his expertise in terms of technical specs. But I won’t be waiting for long because I have read in the newspaper a few days back that Asus Eee Pad Transformer is now out for grab.

I can’t wait to try this one and how it works with or without that keyboard, though I am particulary interested in using it as a tablet. It’s hard to believe that it weighs just 680 g with the pad and keyboard connected. Another interesting feature is that it is preloaded with Polaris® Office® 3.0, which enables one to work with different office documents such as spreadsheets, presentation and doc files. I guess it will be worth the price.

I Get Carried Away

There must be something with small things that fancy me a lot. I’ve been trying to figure what it might be but the reason that I can come out with is that small things are cute and apparently easy to carry around. It would lead me to buy unnecessarily whenever I see something that attracts me and when I can’t get my eyes off it. Yeah, call me a weirdo but it’s where I can treat myself with once in a while. Collecting small items is a habit I can’t get rid of. Sadly, I cannot collect all small things that I fancy but I can be satisfied by just looking yet not sob myself to sleep afterwards. One of the hard-to-collect things no matter how small it is must be this handy Sony Vaio P-series.

Sony Vaio VPCP11 - one of the P-series

I saw in the newspaper today a netbook but not a Sony Vaio that reminded me of the post I wrote long ago. I told hubby that the netbook resembled the one in my post but I found out later that it was not. Hubby was wondering about that Sony Vaio VGN he wanted to have and waited for the price to go down a bit but he’d not read nor heard of it after the campaign sale. I did him a favor and checked the site but that series is nowhere to be found. Instead, I got carried away with another series that seemed to have more finesse than the ones before.

This Little Thing

Here comes another little thing this time from Sony Vaio’s product row of netbooks.  When I saw this in my catalogue I thought it was that HP Vivienne Tan so my glance just ran on it with haste.  But when it was hubby’s turn to see the catalogue, he strangely said, “Älskling, it’s too bad we bought that Lenovo.”  I didn’t know what he meant so I looked at that page of the catalogue where his eyes were focusing and at that moment I saw it was Sony Vaio.  “Oh, my!”  And I asked him if it’s real.  Then like a child, he murmured the words, “I want this. And I want the red one.”  I wasn’t sure if he meant what he said or just teasing me and said those words before I could, hahaa!  But when he went to the computer and check for more details of Sony Vaio P11Z, I knew right there and then he would want this little thing.  And why on earth he wanted the red one, I had no idea. The truth is, I like this, too.  And I woudn’t mind if he gets one. But that might be way too far from reality cos when we checked the price, it’s tripple that of Lenovo and HP.  It even costs a little bit more than the camera we recently bought.  Hayyy!
