Gothenburg Stadsteater
I must admit I haven’t done a lot of bloghopping lately. I am recharging my energy with complete rest, doing nothing but sleep, eat and watch films. This is what I call living in luxury with no wealth involved. I have been trying to limit my computer habit to a maximum of two hours per day. Meanwhile, here’s a photo of Gothenburg City Theatre which I captured, impressively lighted for the Holiday Seasons. This is in addition to the series of lights I posted a few days back.

The Magnificent Poseidon

I got the chance to take this picture of Poseidon, the god of the sea, yesterday on my way home. In the background is the Arts Museum that’s showing Christmas stories for public viewing until December 23. Poseidon statue stands at Gotaplatsen, the heart of Gothenburg. It faces the whole Avenue as if it is watching over this city when darkness falls. Knowing that Poseidon is the god of the sea, I wonder what he had done to the people of this City that they put up a statue of him. I even asked hubby, but his quick reply was, “he might have been stranded here a long, long time ago”.
A Brightly Lit City
Got the chance to take pictures of the city in full lights in preparation for Christmas. These lights light up everyone’s “life” in cold, winternights.

An illuminating sight in the city!
