One Night At The Westin Valencia

27 October 2013 By: Marlene1 Comment

This hotel in Valencia, Spain gives a perfect location if you want to keep away from the busy city streets. The elegant interior of Westin Valencia makes you feel like staying in a royal palace. Inside, the rooms are large and spacious ranging from 45 to 80 square meters, and the largest the 200 square meter-royal suite. We didn’t stay in the royal suite though.

Hubby and I booked the Grand Deluxe with a private terrace in hopes of seeing some fireworks for the New Year celebration. But the street where the hotel is located was so quiet so we walked instead towards the sound of fireworks passing the Calatrava Bridge. The good thing is that despite its quiet location the Westin Valencia is just a walking distance from the city center, business structures and shopping malls.

The 50 square meter-Grand Deluxe room was too big for us though. but the spacious room made us feel more relaxed and rested the next day we woke up and it’s all we need before we’d hit the road again.

Even the hallway to the room has a spacious lobby and furnished with sofas that one can sit and read quietly when the lobby downstairs gets crowded.

Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean with two comfy beds, a large plasma screen and several glossy magazines to lie in bed with one’s feet up and read. We were on the 28th floor with this gorgeous view of the water and autumnal color.
