Slowly But Surely

It’s May and it’s the month I normally have a lot of things to do, mostly pertaining my job. The nearer the school-year ends, the heavier the loads. I’m getting used to this engrossing job of mine and my only compensation to look forward to is that this will soon be over and I will be having a long school break ahead, slowly but surely. Just like this tree and bush or something that are still in the first stage of blooming despite that it’s the last month of spring already. The trees are supposed to have gained back their crown of leaves but the rains haven’t been enough to support the process yet.

just buds yet!

And slowly but surely, too, the buds will bloom and make every tree green again. I took these pics while I was walking to the school past Thursday. I thought it’s unusual to see bare trees and bushes days before May.
