Slowly But Surely

3 May 2010 By: Marlene30 Comments

It’s May and it’s the month I normally have a lot of things to do, mostly pertaining my job. The nearer the school-year ends, the heavier the loads. I’m getting used to this engrossing job of mine and my only compensation to look forward to is that this will soon be over and I will be having a long school break ahead, slowly but surely. Just like this tree and bush or something that are still in the first stage of blooming despite that it’s the last month of spring already. The trees are supposed to have gained back their crown of leaves but the rains haven’t been enough to support the process yet.

waiting for more rains

just buds yet!

And slowly but surely, too, the buds will bloom and make every tree green again. I took these pics while I was walking to the school past Thursday. I thought it’s unusual to see bare trees and bushes days before May.

Nice tree shots. Well, lahat naman nadadaan sa isang mabagal ngunit siguradong tama na paraan. Great insights here!

Hi Ronnie, thanks for following me on Twitter. At na-follow back din kita.

Oo nga, ok lang naman kung mabagal basta sigurado lang may magaganap.

    Hello marlene,

The buds will surely show up. I think we have a similar tree here. We call it as the cotton trees. It will look very beautiful once the cotton come out of the flowers.

For us, the month of April is the busiest. A lot of school activities going on. In may, we will be busy with the exams and in June, we will have three weeks holiday.

Slowly but surely, i like that.

Yay, I am not really familiar with trees. But thanks for the info.

Haa? Three weeks only? We have 8 weeks school break in June-July here.

The pictures are awesome. It’s something like beginning of a new life for the trees. But as you said that the rain haven’t been enough yet, the problem is everywhere. In our state, by this time there should have been 2-3 cyclones with thundershowers, but this year there has been none.

Oh, you should be glad about not having cyclones this year. Otherwise it would be catastrophic again, hehee.
