Sick Of Cold On A Monday Morning

To call in sick on a Monday morning is not really a good start of the week.  Ahh, this cold strucks me again and this time’s not getting any better.  With fever and headaches, muscular pains and backaches.  How could I endure the day when I’d feel all of these early in the morning.  I knew it the moment I went to bed last night, I felt a chill creeping inside me and I was shaking a bit under my blanket.  I said I should take medicine before it would get worse.  But it’s a situation out of control.  One moment I was groaning in pains, the other moment I was sneezing and coughing bad.

Drinking a lot of water would help in some instances but the pains and aches take some time to disappear.  I thought I needed massage as what we usually do in Davao, but no one could do it to me here, not even hubby who’s not keen on such thing.  I got this ointment that my sister bought for me and it helps, but I could not stand the smell, yacks!  I have been trying to get used to it’s disgusting smell.

Medicine, medicine and more medicine to get rid of this dreadful cold.  It’s the only thing I could do now and hope it would help me feel better soon.  I just have to get some sleep and see if I feel any difference when I wake up tomorrow.  Otherwise, I have to stay in bed and let this cold disappear anytime it wants.
