Rainy Winter

4 December 2011 By: Marlene6 Comments

Should I be glad that not snow but raindrops keep falling on my head this early winter season? A year ago, we complained about the snowfall that started even before December. This time it’s kind of mild but rainy days are exasperating. It’s soaking and it’s cold especially when it’s strong wind at the same time that I can’t use my umbrella. I’ve read in the newspaper that some roads were flooded and closed due to heavy rains yesterday. This is the toughest problem when it rains non-stop.

The weather forecast shows more rains to come and with this I won’t expect a white Christmas in sight. But things might change in three weeks so I keep my fingers cross. How about you, what’s the weather like in your place?

It’s been similar in the UK too but not so much rain, its been mild and dull this time last year we had Blizzards and freezing temperatures.

Have a great day and stay dry :-0

I remember the UK had a severe winter last year. It was shown on tv and it was scary. Airports and roads were closed.

Thank you. Our first snow just fell this morning. I wish I could just stay inside.

Hello, I was wondering about your absence here. I’m glad to have you back. I hope everything goes well with your family now. Sometimes situations in our family are quite difficult to handle. But there’s always a way weather a storm.

Just when I thought it would rain this week so came the snow this morning. Winter is finally here. Ugh!

Yea, non-stop rain is always worrying. I always preferred snow anyway.. much more calm, gentle and scenic, hehe.
