Picturesque Row of Architectures

8 August 2012 By: Marlene5 Comments

Different types of architectures always fascinate me and this is probaly revealed in most of my travel photos. This picturesque row of architectures across Nybrokajen in Stockholm is so grand. We were taking a walk along Nybrokajen and what we saw across the water were different structural designs.

I couldn’t get the whole row in one picture so I took some parts in one photo and some in the other.

The classic colors of the stuctures could tell about how old they are. What’s hard to tell is if it’s an apartment building, condominiums or office buildings.

I almost got the long row in this photo though. The yachts just made the view more cosy and luxurious.

A great series of photos! I really love the cloudy sky – it adds something special to those photos.

I have not made it to Stockholm yet but it is on my to visit list. I love places with rich architecture, looks similar to places in Holland that I have visited. Thanks for sharing.

[…] not quite familiar with the history of Stockholm but it’s a wonderful experience seeing this city on water no matter how it became like it is […]
