It took me this long to post an update of our recent holiday vacation. My husband had caught flu just on the day we flew to Munich but he bravely fought it and managed to enjoy our moments there. I, however, started to catch flu when we arrived home. We’re both feeling better now though despite the nasal congestion. Anyhow, let me tempt you with this luscious Bavarian Apple Strudel that we indulged ourselves in Munich.
My husband might have eaten it way long before but since it was our first time to be eating this yummy treat together we’d both call it our first taste of the real Bavarian Apple Strudel or in German it’s Apfelstrudel bayerisch, the fact that we’re in the state of Bavaria. We had this as dessert at Brauhaus Tegernsee restaurant. It was heavenly!
This is the one we had at the Funkstadl restaurant. They served both with ice cream and whipped cream but the presence of some fruits would make contrast to the sweet taste. And a cup of coffee will be a perfect drink to this sinfully delicious sweet treat.
