It has been so quiet on this blog after Christmas not that I have nothing to post but hubby and I are on our fourth roadtrip in Europe. This is our first winter roadtrip so it’s quite different from the trips we had in a spring and summer. We left home in the evening of 27 December and now we’re in Valencia, Spain to celebrate the New Year.
The countries we can’t avoid when driving to the south are Denmark and Germany. It’s either taking the Oresunds Bridge from Malmö, Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark or taking a ferry from Helsingborg, Sweden to Helsingör, Denmark. This time we took the ferry. Then we took another ferry to Germany.
From Germany we usually take the highway where we plan to drive next. We drove to Switzerland.
We’re in a hotel in Valencia, Spain waiting for the New Year fireworks. Happy New Year!

I stayed home this New Year. Davao seems to suit me and my family quite well. Happy journeys in the West.

Hi! Thanks for dropping by. Really appreciate it. Just reading your comment makes me homesick. I wish I could celebrate New Year in Davao. I so miss my hometown.

Thank you, we had. It was a good but brief getaway from work.
