My Shaky, Shaky Hands

10 August 2009 By: Marlene22 Comments

Call it crazy to post this image, but I’m not a professional photographer.  I still rely on the auto functions of my digital camera, be it compact or system.  I’ve tried to use the different motive settings but it’s not that easy.  I can’t remember how I took this pic, perhaps I turned off the flash or something.  I usually try taking pics with or without flash to see the difference. Sometimes it depends on the light condition of the place, sometimes it depends on the camera’s quality that an image taken with or without flash comes out good, if not perfect.  Although most of the times, perhaps, depends on the hands of the photographer.  Just like the one who took this pic. Ahhh!

blurrrred!
I-rrish co coff-ee, an-ny o-one?

In need of image database
I thought of posting the pic of the stadium where Madonna held a two night-concert last weekend, and which I took a few months ago but that picture has gone somewhere, buried in my stock of images.  While looking through all folders, I realized my photos were like hit by a tsunami scattered everywhere.  It wasn’t even easy to find in the My Pictures folder because of the way the folders were named.  I found lots of images, yes, good and bad.  And the worse image above, lol!  Desperate to find what I was looking for, I searched for an image database instead and I found a couple of sites.  I want to know how you keep track of all your digital photos cos it’s a waste of time browsing through all image folders when you are looking for just one.

Eee! No, I didn’t. I just happened to take a pic of the stadium cos we usually have our workshops there. Besides, I’m not a Madonna fan.

Hahaa! You’re the pro photographer so you don’t have to say anything.

Sure, Nikon D90 is one of the best system cams. Actually, hubby bought it last spring and we’re still learning the functions and all.

A Photo Blog is good if you’re keen on photography. In fact, I’m beginning to turn this blog into a Photo Blog.

You are not the only one.

I remember the time when I was covering a school activity. It was my first time and the last time that they let me hold the camera.

Yeah, a tripod is a good companion with the camera. I sometimes have a small one in my hand bag but I’m lazy to use it.

You’re right. And following the tips and trics in the cam’s manual is easy either.

    Hej Marlene,
