It has been about three years since the last time I saw my family in Davao. But thanks to Facebook I get to know what’s the latest news about them. Although there are other means of online communication Facebook seems to be easier for them to connect with me. And updating their status with pictures is enough to let me know of their situation. I should not be sharing with you about what they post but this picture is not about a difficult situation they’re facing but it’s all about love and care for each other till the end of time.
Thanks to my sister-in-law who posted this pic of my Lola and Lolo ( grandma and grandpa). I find this picture intensely moving. It’s heartbreaking to know that my Lolo’s health is slowly declining. But it’s heartwarming to see them in this state. It’s a manifestation of love sublime. Seeing my Lola helping my Lolo with his food is truly inspiring. I could see the same love they give to each other when they were young. Love is not only sweet for young lovers but for old couples as well.
Hubby and I look forward to seeing them again. But until then, we wish them good health and longer life ahead.

It is a great picture. Nowadays, with so many people divorcing at the slightest problem, it is good to see a couple who are still in love with each other at such an old age and taking care of each other.

Ang sweet naman nila. Mas sweet para sa aking ang old couples. Together forever. How old are they na? I miss my lolo tuloy.

O, di ba? Hehee. Yan nga ang di ko alam, habang sinusulat ko ito inisip ko rin kung ilang taon na sila. Forgot to ask my auntie.

Wow, bihira na ang ganito, i admire your lola for taking care of your lolo, truly an inspiration. I wish long life for both of them.

Thank you, Mona. Ganito nga siguro ang mag-asawa na malaki ang pag-ibig sa isa’t-isa. Ni hindi ko man nakita or narinig na nag-away sila. I wish them long life and good health too.
