Meet Satio And Aino

19 October 2009 By: Marlene30 Comments

Do the names sound Japanese?  You bet they are and the latest mobile phone models from Sony Ericsson.  This time it’s not W or K names but Satio and Aino.  I blogged about the SE-W995 model and how it would be smarter if it had the touch screen feature.  But Sony Ericsson did not fail to include this tech innovations on Satio and Aino.  With higher camera pixels and Xenon flash, these two mobile phones will be more that what you need for a phone.  Not to mention its Symbian OS and YouTube screen compatibility.  Plus, if you’re crazy about Facebook then you will go for one of these phones because it’s Facebook integrated.  Take a closer look…

Meet Satio and Aino - the latest from Sony Ericsson

Meet Satio and Aino - the latest from Sony Ericsson

Satio Specs:
size: 4.4 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches
screen: 360×640 pixel / 16,777,216 color TFT touchscreen
memory: SanDisk microSD™ support
camera: 12.1 megapixels and Xenon flash
entertainment: MP3, bluetooth, radio, video, YouTube (plus more)
connectivity: wifi-certified, modem, aGPS, etc.
organizer: Symbian OS and more

Aino specs:
size: 4.1 x 2.0 x 0.6 inches
screen: 432×240 pixel / 16,777,216 color TFT
memory: Phone memory 55MB / SanDisk microSD™ support
camera: 8.1 megapixels, touch focus
entertainment: radio FM with RDS, video clipping, video streaming, tracker, etc.
connectivity: wifi-certified, aGPS, modem, USB support and mass storage, etc.

You might have noticed that I blog about Sony Ericsson mobile phones quite often.  It’s just that I am used to its user-friendly technical features.  Lastly, it doesn’t mean that I change my phone everytime new models come out in the market.  But if I win the lottery I’d definitely buy those two.  Wanna bet with me?  🙂

I admire your patience, Willie. What’s most important is that you can call or txt with your current phone.

Since they were launched last week, the price is presumably high, around 300$-400$.

You would buy both the Sony Ericsson Satio and the AIno?!
I think I would go for the Satio even though the Playstation remote controlling on the Aino sounds great as well. The Satio is cool but I would rather wait for the new SOny Ericsson android phone (Xperia X3) which is to be launched between the end of this year and the beginning of next year. That phone will really be a Iphone competitor.

No, I will not buy any of those phones for now cos I’m still satisfied with my W995.

I’ve never heard of Xperia X3, but they had released an Xperia phone last year here.
