I learned about Madame Tussauds wax museum when my Thai friend showed me photos some years ago on her visit to the said museum in London. I thought it was the only place where this museum can be found. But Madame Tussauds know where it should stand among the crowds. Just recently opened in Berlin, my illusion of posing with prominent figures has finally come true, hahaa! Hubby and me didn’t exactly know it was there at all, but at any circumstance he found out the next day we were there. And even not too long from the hotel we were staying.

Look who’s happy to see Dalai Lama. They can be good friends, am sure of that. They must have talked about many things like the future of Tibet or the Olympic Games, who knows, hehee.

No matter what they’ve talked about, I was busy posing with my fave George Clooney, hahaa. Is Ocean’s Fourteen coming yet?
But don’t be fooled by these pictures as if we really have met these prominent icons. They’re only wax, human-sized and alluringly real-looking. Perhaps it’s fascinating to visit Madame Tussauds when you’re in London, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, New York, Shanghai, Washington D.C. and Berlin.
By the way, we’re back from the holiday. We decided to just stay in Berlin as the weather hasn’t been so good. The rains almost stopped us from going out of the hotel. And hubby has got flu. But it’s always nice to be back at the comfort of home after being away.
Wax beats nothing at all! At least you could say now “I’ve met many famous people!! ………… IN WAX!!” 😛 *kidding*
Those are so cool! I would love to visit there one day 🙂 Happy WW 🙂

The Dalai Lama is there too? Hehehe How funny.
Wow Bongga ka Len, diko kilala yung iba dyan pero George oh geroge kakaloka.
Napaboaniya,
Not bad, huh!
Sue,
Yes, they are. If only they have heartbeats, too. 🙂
Marcia,
What makes it more interesting is it’s history.
Amor,
Hanggang ilusyon na lang muna tayo, hahaa! Halata din talagang wax ano.
Shanker,
There must be something about Clooney that we like, hehee. But he’s a good actor.
Lyn,
Yes, indeed. It’s fun especially of those hollywood celebrities. 🙂
Prettylife,
Happy WW to you, too. You’re too early, huh.
Rozella,
Yes, Dalai Lama is there…in WAX, lol!
Joy,
Charing lang yan. Wax na wax talaga dating nila. Parang ginamitan ng maraming duplex floorwax ba, hehee.
Na research ko nga yan Madame Tussauds and it’s one of the famous wax museum.
I want to visit Madamme Tussaud one day too, especially the one in London. My sis and dad went to the one in Vegas recently, but they said those wax figures doesn’t look too real, it looks kinda funny. They couldn’t even recognise some in fact!
Farah, I wish to visit the one in London, too and pose with Lady Di, hehee. Yeah, some figures don’t look natural at all, like Madonna and Beyonce in Berlin, they look sooo wax, lol!
oh yeah, I saw those oily waxy figures from the Madamme Tussaud in Las Vegas, they dont look real and its pissing off to pay so much and not to get something of high quality and standard.
Mhy,
Nagulat ako sa mga pics. Parang totoo in fairness.
Wax Museum is one of the places that you can visit. It is a human in the form of wax to make it life-sized and life-formed.
