If And Only If

20 April 2008 By: Marlene15 Comments

My weekend as usual is not a restful weekend. Been invited to a birthday party while my assignments and tasks are waiting to be done. I couldn’t think of ways how to start my next school essay, I’m not in the mood to do it yet. Instead, I’m stucked doing this tag passed on to me by Farah. It required me to think but not as intense as when I do my school essay. Thanks Farah for this interesting tag.  I really had a good time reading your sensible “ifs”.

If I were I direction I’d be east, because the sun rises in the east.
If I were furniture I’d be a bookshelf. It’s simply for books and nothing else.
If I were a gem/stone I’d be topaz. It’s my birthstone.
If I were a tree I’d be birchtree. There are plenty of this kind of tree here. It’s tall and slender.
If I were a fruit I’d be a mango. I love green and yellow mango.
If I were a flower I’d be a white rose. I remember we had a white rose tree in our backyard when I was small. We called it rosal, it’s pure white and smells heavenly.
If I were a musical instrument I’d be a guitar. It’s the first musical instrument I’ve learned playing.
If I were a color I’d be green. I think it’s the color for freshness.
If I were an animal I’d be a dog. The most liked domesticated animals.
If I were a lyric I’d be My Fair Share. It’s one of the songs I learned to sing when I was 6 or 7 years old. I still remember the melody and part of the lyric.
If I were a perfume I’d be Marlene Perfume. Why not? Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion among others have their own perfume brands.
If I were a feeling I’d be content. It’s hard to feel content when we think about everything we have is not enough. I always want more that sometimes I don’t know what more I want for.
If I were a book I’d be The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It’s the book I want to read next.
If I were a city I’d be Rome. I haven’t been there.
If I were a word I’d be respect. This word is a must when dealing with other people.
If I were a verb I’d be sleep. I love being a sleeping cinderella, lol!
If I were an object I’d be a keyring. I collect keyrings of different kinds and from different places.
If I were a cartoon character I’d be Cedie, the little prince. The cartoon series I used to watch before.
If I were one of the four seasons I’d be spring. It’s when flowers begin to blossom.
If I were a sentence I’d be “I can’t wait for the summer holiday…”

MY, I love your answers!!! Well, I am not sure if I’d be your friend if you were a dog though…I am afraid of dogs! LOL so well….you’ll be eating a mango in spring, sitting next to the book shelf while reading ‘The Secret’, and when you get tired, you might wanna pluck the guitar for a while before putting on your topaz necklace and Marlene perfume to be ready for your romantic dinner with your wonderful husband! 🙂
