Hubby was out this afternoon to check on the taxi car in the parking lot. He called his brother and asked for help just in case the car was snowed in. It was indeed, because they needed to tow it. It didn’t concern me much cos I didn’t know how it looked like out there. After getting a warning signal 2 yesterday, I could only see that the snow has gotten thicker and higher. True to say, this is the worst winter I’ve had in my entire stay in this country. Hubby is also beginning to complain now. Soon we will file our complaint to the weather bureau. As if only we could, lol!
Recently, I bought another down jacket and a pair of boots. I am satisfied with the jacket but not the boots because I didn’t know the would be rather thick like now. I asked hubby how it was outside and he said it was terrible. I should have bought a pair of Bronte boots. My boots don’t really keep my feet warm all the time. And if I wore thick socks the boots would be impossible to zip. I felt several times how my feet froze after walking on snow with unsuitable boots. But it’s spring in two weeks so I am indecisive to buy a pair now. Though this kind of boots are year-round boots. Maybe I should. I should not?
Now I know how it’s like when snow falls everyday. I can’t seem to imagine living every winter like this. It gives me a thought to start saving so we could fly to a warmer city in the next winter season. Just a thought. What are your thoughts? 🙂
