I Love This And I Hate That

18 January 2008 By: Marlene4 Comments

It’s been a while since my last meme assignment and this one’s been passed on to me by Rickavieves sometime last week.  She wants to know, through this tag, about the things I love and hate.  To think about the things I love is piece of cake, but thinking about the things I hate is fussy, as I prefer to use the phrase, ” I don’t like…” when referring to something I vehemently despise.  But somewhere along my thoughts, I discovered that there are really things to which I can apply the word “hate”.  Follow my thoughts…

I hate to see unwashed dishes in the sink in the morning.  My day is spoiled when I see pile of dirty dishes first hour in the morning, so I make it a point to wash the dishes no matter how late it is in the evening.  I won’t go to bed leaving them unwashed in the sink.  Apart from hating it, I happened to love dishwashing.  The fact is it’s my favorite housework and I never wished owning a dishwashing machine for that matter.  Besides, it keeps me in shape standing by the sink, humming or even singing while washing dishes. 😆

I hate the bad odor of somebody sitting beside me.  In a bus, one day, someone sat beside me with surreal unpleasant odor.  I felt dizzy, could vomit any moment.  I wanted to stop breathing just to get away with the bad odor.  I wanted to shout like “hey, have you eaten up tons of onions? You need tons of soap to wash you up, jerk!”

I hate perfumes, they give me terrible headaches.  I had tried putting on a couple of times, but I ended up feeling warm and itchy all over, although I don’t have any form of allergy.  But if I smell a dash of perfume on you, it doesn’t mean I hate you, ok.  I just don’t like it on my skin and clothes.

I love scented candles.  I have a little collection of some colorful, scented candles.  For me, they’re invigoratingly soothing to the senses when lighted.  I’ve always thought of lighting one while soaking myself in a tub, but haven’t got the real chance.

There you go, some of the things I love and hate.  Now I want to know what are yours, Jerico, my little bro.  Since you’re into blogging now, perhaps you should join this tagging game so you have something to post on your broken-hearted soliloquies blog.  It’s time to confide to your big sis now.

Body odor is something I can’t stand myself. I mean, haven’t some of these people heard of deodorants? LOL!
