I Do Have My Own Quirks

27 June 2008 By: Marlene7 Comments

“Every man had his own quirks and twists” – Harriet Beecher Stowe

Got this Unspectacular Quirks Meme from Farah a few weeks ago.  I had a hard time thinking about my quirks, then I realized I’ve had many and the six below are the so-called unspectacular. 🙂

Here are the rules:

1. link the person(s) who tagged you
2. Mention the rules on your blog
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours…
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them…
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

My quirks:

–  I am colorblind. Don’t ask me what’s the color of the dress my friend wore at the party cos I couldn’t remember at all. I can’t see the difference between orange and red from a distance.

–  Sometimes I want to cry for nothing, lol! I would try to remember sad moments of my life so tears would flow down my cheeks.

–  I’m a angry monster when I am hungry. I can hiss at hubby very bad, lol!

–  I’m a very night person. I can stay awake until the wee hours in the morning doing anything. I can even do the cleaning at nights.

–  I’m a mobile phone fiend. But I don’t go for more classy ones. I can change phones every year without even noticing it.

–  When I feel like cutting my hair, I couldn’t think twice but go to the parlor the soonest time possible. Worse is to ask hubby cut my hair just because I want it cut.

I’ve no one to pass this tag on, but if anyone is interested, please tell me and I’ll link your name here.

    My
you really have some funny quirks! LOL. I love them all though, however, that orange and red colour- well I think that’s quite common. Another is greenish blue or blueish green. sometimes, it’s tough to say if it’s green or blue- can you imagine that? 🙂

you cry for nothing huh? you are just like finaz. she does that sometimes, and amazingly, she could cry thinking abt the sad moments. how do you guys do it? it’s like milking a cow! LOL LOL when you need tears, milk some out? hahahahahahah

so, you like to cut your hair and you don’t bother who does the cutting as long as the hair is cut huh? how I wish you were here…then, Syabil would have a blast time holding the scissors cutting aunty Marlene’s hair!

nice ones My and enjoyed reading them.

I’m also color blind, I have some problems recognizing colors specially from a distance. Basic colors lang pati ang alam ko, haha!

    Farah,
I forgot to mention about orange and brown, I have a hard time recognizing them. Hahaa, Finaz also cry for nothing, we are the crying ladies, we can do drama movies. Farah, tell Syabil that his aunty My would be glad if he cuts her hair in the future. 🙂

    Nick,
then you should sleep so nothing dangerous will happen, lol! When I’m sleepy, I’m in a hurry to go to bed, hehee.

    Joy,
Thanks sa dalaw uli. Hehee, I’m sure you have your quirks, too.

    Farah,
Kind of boring here cos the weather is gray. Thanks…

    Amor,
Ganun ka rin pala, hehee. Wala pa naman yatang gamot sa ganitong blindness. 🙁

    My,

yeah, Syabil would love to cut aunty Marlene’s hair sometime soon. By then, I am sure Daryn would be of a great assistant too. LOL oh, FInaz, you, my mom could totally watch a sad movie together and hold a box of tissue each. hahahaahha
