He Is Upside Down – PH

24 July 2010 By: Marlene11 Comments

It was more than three years ago when I started blogging and my very first post was a photo of a man doing bungee jumping. I thought it would be appropriate to post additional photos of it since it’s high time for doing such a jump. Adventurous and hobbyists must be making most of the short summer going bungee jumping but for me who’s a hobbyist but not into this kind of adventure would enjoy to be on the ground and watch the jumpers hang upside down.

It’s been long since the last time I saw bungee (bungy) jumping here though I know this is a popular hobby in the summertime. This gantry crane on Eriksberg in Gothenburg has bungee jumping in the summer. It’s somewhere here the Swedish Ship Götheborg was built. A walk at the harbour is popular all year round to catch a sea breeze while watching ships and yachts pass by. It was astonishing to see bungee jumpers hang upside down in a flash with those yachts on the water. It would not be a good sight to see one hit the head on the yachts. I can’t imagine more worse than this.

This week’s link is on my sidebar theme – Hanging

i don’t have the guts to jump off from the top. it seems like committing suicide. I’m not a risk taker by nature so there’s no way I would put myself through this terrifying ordeal. 🙂

I actually don’t have the courage to have bungee jumping. I’m afraid of heights! Nice photos of it though. 🙂
