Got A Name For This?

25 June 2008 By: Marlene17 Comments

When it comes to Botany, I’m hopeless though I love nature, I couldn’t just remember all the names of the trees, shrubs and all things related to botany. And this flower is so beautiful I couldn’t help but know the name of it.

    Mhy,

I’d call that Redicious Florisius J. (not L. or Linn. for Linnaeus). The J would stand for my name. Lol! Vanity!

At any rate, it’s a good thing flowers grow that beautiful in your place. Here in the Philippines, lanta lahat ang flowers. Thanks to Typhoon Frank. πŸ™

Nick – You’re as hopeless as I am in this area. Rose is not difficult to identify, hahaa…

Rozella – Thanks, dear. I’ll drop by to claim my award later.

Hootin – Is it? Thanks for the name. Now I know.

Farah – There are so many beautiful flowers that I don’t know the name, hehee. I like the color, too. Sooo girly. πŸ™‚

Amy – I sooo love this flower, really. Thanks. Happy WW, too.

How beautiful! I’m hopeless when it comes to the names of plants, too. There are just so many! Honestly, I’m bad at names with PEOPLE too, haha!

    Happy WW πŸ™‚

So Dahlia pala yan, maganda nga. Naki google na rin ako ng ibang pics and I saw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:AURORASKISS.jpg na similar sa pic mo. Aurora’s Kiss pala ang tawag dyan, hmmm, bakit kaya? πŸ˜€

Ang dami palang ibat ibang klase ng Dahlia, at in fairness, magaganda lahat ha! πŸ™‚

    Allison,
You’re not alone in being bad at names on people. I, too, can’t remember names especially on the first meeting. πŸ™‚ Thanks for dropping by.

    Joy,
Siyempre naman! Ha?? di mo pala ako na-add sa joycd80 mo. Nasa blogroll ko na ito pati yung friendster mo. πŸ™

    Malou,
Thanks for giving me the name. I didn’t know it’s Dahlia. The name is familiar to me, but not the flower itself. πŸ™‚ Thanks for dropping by…

    Sara,
Thank you for dropping by. There are many of you who knows the name of this, but not me. πŸ™

    Amor,
