Friendship Award On Friendship Day
Many thanks to Ruchi of Choosy Info and IWrite2Know for awarding me this Friendship Award while I was on vacation. I couldn’t post and pass this due to time constraint, however, I didn’t expect I’d post this today which is actually the Friendship Day. I wouldn’t have known it’s Friendship Day today hadn’t I come across a greeting card site yesterday. Perfect timing, so it seems.
There’s one person I truly missed on this special day. My best friend and I were supposed to see each other (again) in Davao but the time was hard for her to leave her ailing mother-in-law. I could have gone myself to her place in Surallah, Cotabato City but it turned out risky to travel down south because of the bombing incidents. We both knew how we wanted to meet anyhow, but the situation seemed to be out of hand. There’s nothing we could do but to wait for the next chance. Until then, Happy Friendship Day to you my dearie friend.
On the other hand, I would like to share this award and dedicate this day to my former work colleagues and friends. It’s always a pleasure to see you, guys, whenever I’m in Davao. And the recent gathering was kind of special because of the presence of the one (of the bosses) from Houston, Texas. Happy Friendship Day!
