Can you see what I see? I attempted to take a picture of this waxing crescent moon one July night. I didn’t know what had gotten my mind when I saw it through my kitchen window. I just took the camera and shoot! I didn’t even see that moon in the picture at first and thought it was impossible to take a picture of a moon with a bare ordinary camera. But when I was browsing through for pictures to post, found this image again but now I could see a little spot at the center, then I realized it was the moon I took before. It must be my old monitor’s contrast that sometimes I see the images darker than normal.
“I want to have my own moon I can go to. There I’d stay till every trouble down on earth turns to peace. I want to have my own moon where I can sit on and do whatever I can.” It’s in the lyrics of a Swedish song that I’ve learned to sing during my first year of stay here. And it left me wondering how on earth could I have my own moon.
Panu nga ba tayo magkakaron ng sariling moon? Hahaha for sure we can see the whole world pag andun tayo sa moon nakaupo at parang namimingwit! Hi Len..
Joy, siguradong talo pa natin ang mga space craft kapag nasa moon tayo, hehee. Yun nga lang, paano? 🙂
wow that’s awesome! and hey you changed your blog template! Yikes! I need to really update mine. I feel so obsolete! ha!
Maricris, I was bored with my last theme that’s why I’ve changed. Kaya next time, don’t be surprised cos I always to this, hehee. But your theme looks nice, so don’t hurry.
Even if you used an ordinary camera, kitang-kita yung earthshine or yung reflection ng Earth sa Moon ano?
Amor, pinatay ko lahat ng ilaw sa kusina para maging perfect. Pero ang hirap pala.
Hello, Have a nice day!!
Hi Heartbeat, welcome to my Potpourri site. Have a nice day, too.
trip ko ding kumuha ng moon pictures. Kaya lang, it’s not often that I can have very good results. Yours is very good:) btw, thanks for dropping by my blog:)
Marites, thank you. If only I could make it better next time. My pleasure, taga-Davao gud ta, hehee.
A long time ago I wanted to be the First Pinoy to reach the moon and “let me play among the stars”. Kanta yun ah. 🙂
Jess, may chance ka pa kaya ituloy mo na, hehee!
Congraduations and the moon capture! It’s hard to take a good moon photo with a snap shot.
Kathy, thanks! I didn’t realize at first it looked satisfying.
that’s a really pretty snap My. From my kitchen window, I can’t see anything pretty. hehehehehe all I could see are banana trees- not pretty huh?
Farah, thank you dear. And don’t you say banana tree is not a pretty sight. I had that kind of view from my window in Davao, and I so liked it waiting for the bananas to become yellow. 🙂

Great Picture indeed, “moon and back” – this is one of my fav song by Savage Garden
The title of the song is familiar, but I don’t remember how it goes. The only song I can by Savage Garden is Truly, Madly, Deeply.
