Fireworks Are Over

This is my first post for 2010.  I still have a hard time writing 1 for the third digit of this year.  It was easier with zero all the way but I guess I will be getting used to it in a couple of months or should I say I have all the time to learn writing 1 in a whole decade, lol!  Oh, my, did I say decade?  And we are traversing again another decade of our lives.  Anyway, what we could do for the time being is to welcome the new decade with hopes and dreams to make it the best of all decades.  Quite frankly, I don’t know which decade I deemed best.  Maybe you know.  But ask me which decade had the best music of all times.  It’s the 80′s.

I’m pretty sure that the decade has been welcomed differently in different countries.  Even so the fireworks and firecrackers are inevitable in celebrating the New Year, others prefer a simple and quiet one.  To me the best place to celebrate the New Year is in the comfort of my home.  I am quite scared to light a firework and so is hubby but we enjoy watching fireworks display through the window.  Last night, we opened the door in the kitchen despite the cold so that hubby could film it.  It was so scary to hear the fireworks exploded one after another.  It went quite ferocious for minutes that I couldn’t stand it anymore.  I felt like some fireworks would hit me any moment.  Anyhow, here are some pictures I took last night.  My first photograph for 2010.  Fireworks are over but the memory remains.  Happy New Blogging Year to everyone!
