Fancy a Squid in Oyster Sauce?
I always have a hard time ordering in a restaurant especially when the meals in the menu sound so foreign to me. Since I come from the Philippines I always have a strong liking for Asian foods. Though the taste must be different I think it’s worth tasting. Anyhow, hubby can always help me with the European meals. But when we are in an Asian restaurant, he tends to be picky. Recently he had satay while I had this savory-looking squid in oyster sauce.
I had no idea how it would look like and how it would taste but the “oyster sauce” made me think I would like it. Strangely or not I like anything in oyster sauce and basically the taste of oyster sauce itself. It’s something with it that’s delectable enough for me. Now I’m not missing the squid because it was like eating an elastic fiber but the taste was divine.
