Fall Colors in the Queen City – Guest Post

Hi Everyone! I’m your host for today so let’s get acquainted.  Sit back and relax while I entertain you. First off, let me introduce myself.  I’m Maricris and I’m from a city in the US : Charlotte, NC.  It is fondly called the Queen City but pretty known as the center of the Banking industry until the economy went sour.  Yet in spite of this mishap, Charlotte remained a great city to live in.  Well, that is what I keep telling myself anyway so don’t take my word for it!  :-)

Now let me give you a tour. I should tell you, Fall is one of my favorite seasons due to it’s wonderful display of colors. I love going to work every day driving along tree-lined roads filled with colorful leaves such as this:

Then below is the big tree infront of my house which has all turned yellow. As of this writing, most of the leaves are already down the ground. I love it! Except for the mess it makes of course. My car can definitely attest to that. More so my poor yard!

Let’s hop on over to the main City center of uptown Charlotte and give you a little glimpse of what it’s like. I don’t go there a lot except when I need to. The “one way” roads and tight traffic is enough to drive anyone nuts. I guess if you live in the city, it always is the case! Do you love football? Well, I do a bit and our state team is the Panthers which sadly is doing really awful this year. Yeah, imagine all the fans wanting to squish our quarterback! But we’re hopeful nonetheless.

So, going back to Fall, I bet you have the same wonderful display of colors in your side of the world. I wish I can see them. Well, I’m sure I can if you visit me one of these days and show me the way to your world. How does that sound? Well, I should not take the rest of your time now. I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my world. I will leave you with this picture, it’s one of my favorites. This is a view from the window in my office at work.

And Thank you to the graciousness of our lady of the house for letting me take over her blog today and engage you with my ravings. Like I said, feel free to come visit me sometime. I would like to get to know you more. Or better yet, you’re more than welcome to invite me over to host your blog and give you a break some time. So with this I say, Happy Fall everyone!!!
