Early Morning Frost

I spent the weekend putting up my Advent candles and changing curtains, which I supposed to have done the other weekend.  It was the second Sunday of Advent yesterday so the second candle was lighted.  This is normally the scenario when Advents come – putting up all then keeping them all after Christmas.  It’s quite fun to me because I am getting accustomed to this kind of tradition here.  It seems I cannot let go of Advent without having the four candles and those electrical Advent lights.  Somehow, they make me feel warmer rather than cold knowing that it’s really cold here now.

Speaking of cold,  I took a photo when our car was frosted up one morning.  It was actually midday when I went out for work that day and hubby was to drive me to the tram station when his taxi didn’t start because he left the alcolock unattended at a freezing point.  The taxi car would start only when he blew out safe from alcohol in the alcolock.  But this time the alcolock was totally locked he couldn’t even turn it on.  He was really pissed off for the fact that he was also in a hurry.  He has been pissed off with this alcolock system because he has to do it even if he’s not drinking at all and he never would drive if he does.  But for security measure and reason, this system is definitely good.

Anyhow, we went to our car and found it’s been frost all over.  I couldn’t even open the door.  Hubby managed to open and tried to charge the alcolock.  Unfortunately we couldn’t drive this car that day because the roads were frosty and slippery and we didn’t changed to winter gears.  Not yet, not now according to him since I don’t have a driving licence yet.  Sigh…
