Although it’s towards the end of March, the start of Daylight Saving Time marks the beginning of Spring for me. Yet, to my surprise, when I glanced out the window this morning, snowflakes were on the ground. Although the snow is lovely, it seems out of place at this time of year. I checked the weather forecast for the upcoming week and, it appears that the cold days will last a little longer.
Apropos DST, I remember there was a talk about permanently ending it. Not per se but the countries switching from standard time to DST yearly will have to decide whether to keep their current time or retain the DST. That may have been three to four years ago but it seems unlikely to ever happen.
I lost an hour of sleep today so I’ll make sure to go to bed earlier tonight. It’s one thing I don’t like when switching to DST.
