The most exciting part of a road trip is driving through different cities and discover their distinct features and attractions. I am particularly interested in architectures and when on a road trip I could not help but admire some exterior structural designs. However, when we drove from Nice to Monaco we admired the sceneries from the height of the road.
It’s kind of amazing to see those houses on the mountains and among the trees. And all we could do from the road was stare in awe.
We drove up here just to get down to Monaco. But before we headed down we took a chance to stop the car and enjoyed the sight of mountainous scenery.
It was a beautiful day in January in Monte Carlo (Monaco). The weather was moderate despite the cold season.
After Monaco we drove to Menton (in southeastern France). It was also a good day to sit for a hot drink on the seaside. We tried to find a place to park our car but it was not the easiest. We were driving around to find one but we gave up. Instead, we hit the highway and drove to the next country road.

Hi Marlene,
those photographs are so nice, should admit that Monaco is a worth watch city for its scenic beauty.
By the way why did you feel so hard to park your car at Menton was the parking lot full or was there no place to park?
So at last you enjoyed your road trip…
Have a great week ahead

Hello Vijesh,
Thank you, it was indeed worth to drive thru Monaco.
Though it was winter it’s kind of warm down there and many were out to sit at the waterfront.
It’s probably why we couldn’t find any vacant parking space in that place. However, it was nice to see the place even sitting in the car.
