Dining In A Castle

23 September 2009 By: Marlene39 Comments

Just an ordinary but a castle look-restaurant

Just an ordinary but a castle look-restaurant

The roof of the restaurant amazed me more than how it looks inside.  The grass growing on the roof  made it looked like a real castle from afar.  It was when we drove to Stockholm that we found this restaurant for a breakfast.  But I would love to have dinner there someday, although it would be a long drive back and forth.  I’m just waiting for a chance to see this place again.  We did plan to drive to Stockholm again last weekend, but we were both tired to get up as early as 6:00 am.  It wouldn’t be much of a trip if we would start driving on a midday so we didn’t bother about the plan.  I don’t think we could do it now as the season of fall has started to take over warm days with rains and cold winds in the air.  Not an ideal time to drive for a pleasure trip.  Too bad cos I’d really dreamed of seeing this castle like restaurant again.  I wonder if the knight is still there, lol!  Yes, there was a knight guarding the place day and night, hehee.  Just a human size statue of a knight.

Grass sa bubong ng kotse, hummm ako hulaan ang aking kotse ay magkakaroon ng damo sa bubong nito kung hindi ko lumipat mula sa aking blogging istasyon para sa isa pang linggo. : -0

Lol! The translation is almost perfect. I hope Hobo was talking about a junked car. And you should be using your car to avoid grass on the roof. 🙂

So interesting to see. Such roofs are very environmentally friendly too and apparently cut the cost of heating and cooling. would be funny to see a goat up there eating while the people inside did 🙂 Happy WW

    Hi

Dropping by to ask for your prayers and support for the Flood Victims of Typhoon Ondoy that just hit the Philippines, Metro Manila. I was very fortunate that my apartment has been spared from the major flooding but many have died and many more need to be rescued. Drop by over at empty streets to find out how you can also support those that have been hit by this tragedy.

    sincerely,

    Metz

      Hi Metz,
I’ve known about the flood when my sister texted me. She’s in Davao but the rains are not stopping there, too, due to this Typhoon Ondoy.

I will take part in whatever way I can. Thanks for calling my attention to this matter.
