Cleaning Up Is Hard To Do!

4 May 2008 By: Marlene21 Comments

Basura!Holiday is over and my intention for this weekend was to do my school assignment.  But it’s far way from what I expected, instead, me and hubby spent the whole Saturday cutting empty boxes into pieces.  We bought a new hi-fi component to replace the unusable one we had when suddenly, I remembered the pile of boxes in our stockroom.  It was impossible to place more stuffs inside.  Now, these were just some of the boxes that we should dispose of, it’s not easy to cut boxes into pieces.  I would get a cut, in fact, I did get a little cut when I flattened one box.  Geezz!  Me, who’s scared of blood!

I won’t blame me or hubby for having a messy, full stockroom.  The large recycling bin is not always placed in our place.  We have to wait until the last four days of every month before we can get away with all those recyclable rubbish.  Not to mention the winter that’s making me lazy to just go out and throw some garbage.  Some people have started cleaning up in early springtime, but I have just started and am getting exhausted by the thought of it.  Cleaning up is hard to do, but it feels good getting rid of unwanted things after all.  Let the cleaning begin!

It’s really hard to clean up talaga. Kami nga hindi na naubusan ng kalat dito sa house, haha! Pano kasi may batang makulit na laging naglalaro. Maliit lang yung place namin, halos puro laruan, nakatambak! 🙂

Amor, mas mahirap maglinis kapag may maliit dahil pabalik-balik yung kalat, hehee. Kaya wait mo na lang paglaki ni kulit mo’t matuto din yang maglinis mag-isa. 🙂

Bojoy, may asthma ka pala. You should stay away from dusts or something like that, dahil nakaka-trigger yun sa asthma. Hmm, hire mo ako pagdating diyan, tagalinis mo, hehee.

Ahehee! Thanks for the award. I’ll check it later. This comment of yours got into my akismet spam comments, I don’t know why. 🙁

Nick, the rubbish must have loved staying with you, hehee. I think most men hate cleaning up, lol! I, myself, would keep telling hubby to clean up but he would always say, “later”. But this time he helped me out cos he felt like I was chanting in his ears, lol!

    My,
yes, i totally understand what you mean with boxes and cutting them up in small pieces. they are thick, and of course they are not easy to cut. i always throw boxes and not keep them at all. I know if I start keeping them, they would pile up and I will have problems one day. i guess, the best is to put in the recycling bin, but if that is only possible every 4 days in a month, then, that’s not very good either. Sometimes, I give big boxes to some neighbours who would sell those off for cash.

Anyway, I hope your spring cleaning is over and you can just relax and have more rooms in the store.

Farah, I wish I’ve known some neighbours who would sell off boxes. It’s a good idea to give them away.

Ahehee, it’s just the beginning. There’s more to clean up but I’m taking it easy. I’ve had enough stressing out myself. 🙂

ya never ever over do, you’ll get so stressed out and the end results might not be as expected.

btw, you were asking for a recipe, what recipe do you want? noodles? rice? curries??? 🙂 let me know.

when is your husband’s birthday? is this recipe for him?
