When it comes to making the most of sunny days, doing barbecue is the best that we can do. We’ve placed our good old electric grill in the balcony so that when the sun shines at its best we could do barbecue for dinner. So far, we have done it three times this month and for the first time, we had chicken satay. No, we didn’t prepare the satay ourselves but we bought a pack of ready-to-grill frozen satay. Maybe one of these days, we’ll be able to prepare fresh satay. But for now, we’re happy with the taste of the one we have in the freezer.
Looks a little bit dry but the peanut sauce makes it more succulent; hence, the yummy taste. I didn’t know before that satay comes in different meat. The only meat I knew of satay was chicken as what I’d always get in a restaurant everytime I’d order satay. There’s one restaurant in town that serves thin-cut chicken satay in curry taste. I always have it as appetizer. Love it! But now I learned that there’s pork, mutton, liver, turtle, horse and even snake satay, hehee! I think I’d still prefer chicken satay, what else?

hello again!
snake? who eats snakes… my god
chicken and lamb satay are my best!
why should an electric gril be in the sun??
Marlene says
Sure, there are people who eat snakes, ask the Chinese, hehee!
Because our fire alarm will scream even for a little smoke inside, that’s why it’s better to place it in the balcony in summer.

I always love barbecue chicken and always ready to eat.
Its so yummy and full of energy, along with I always consume chilled beer and lemon.I love to know its recipe. Please mentioned next time…
Marlene says
I don’t know why but bbq is best in summer and sure it goes with some cold drinks. I’m afraid it’s instant barbecue in a pack so there’s no recipe included.

As hubby once said, the chinese would eat every animal which back/spine faces the sun, lol!
And thank you, too, for dropping by. I really appreciate it.
