Call it the Sicilian Cappucino

10 November 2011 By: Marlene8 Comments

I’ve begun to love cappucino after trying an instant cup of it with my Tassimo coffee machine. Whenever I have the chance to sit in a coffee shop I’d prefer to have a cup of cappucino, other than a hot choco drink. Oh, well, I also like latte macchiato but I can’t find the one I like in some coffee shops. These hot drinks are my energy-booster in this season of cold and dark.

Cappucino in Catania, Sicily

This foamy cappucino is what I got at the hotel’s bar in Catania, Sicily. I call it the Sicilian cappucino because I haven’t seen one as foamy as this. I would get a foam on my nose if I’d drink it straight but I didn’t want that to happen so I used a tea-spoon to take the liquid down to half before sipping it.

I’d love to have a cup of cappucino every night when hubby and I are having our dessert while watching tv but I would have a hard time sleeping. I limit my cappucino drinking to weekends or on holidays when I don’t need to get up so early. Too bad, isn’t it? Tea will be fine, then.

I too love cappuccino. At home, every other evening, I like to whip one up after work while I go to the coffee shop sometime during the weekend atleast once.

It’s good that you’re not having it every night. I would always have a hard time sleeping if I do so.

Oh definitely. I have my last cappucino of the day atleast three to four hours before bed so I get my work done without feeling sleepy and have the effects wear off just before bedtime so I can sleep easily.

Hahaa! I think I need this every morning, too, to start the day wide awake.

I am a huge fan of Cappuccinos. I wish I had an espresso machine at home. I can take the caffeine!

I also love cappucino. My sister brought a ready mix cappucino when she visited us last year. I also bought one in Duty free, ganun ako ka-addict! hehe. Few months ago naubos na sya so I googled on how to make a cappucino mix, I tried and liked it. Balak kong gawin un ulit before Christmas, ilagay sa bottle with ribbons at i-gift sa mga co-parents, pwede diba? 🙂
