Anticipating Real Spring

31 March 2011 By: Marlene5 Comments

It’s the last day of March and it’s supposed to be spring the whole month already but the season is not upon us yet. The temperature has been up to a little over than 5°C since last week which is good and the little rains we’re getting every now and then indicate that spring is on the way. I want to see the leaves of the trees showing up now, I can’t wait any longer. The surroundings look bare and dull without the greens. And oh, I’m glad that the gravel on the roads and streets has been swept. It’s that thing they pour on icy roads in the winter to keep us from sliding but it’s bothersome on dry weather.

Today is the last day for winter tyres on cars so I expect a busier road tomorrow when everybody can drive without the specified tyres. And I expect to be driving a lot now that I got my driving licence. It’s just three months old but I started driving by myself only last week and I kind of liked it. It really makes my job easier. This is one thing why I anticipate real spring more this time than before. 🙂

      No problem…
Yeah, long winter can be boring, too.

It has been a problem but the solution is few. It’s quite hard because the industries are moving forward and the effect is destroying our environment, thus global warming occurs.
